What is Thai Green Curry Mix

The name "green" curry derives from the colour of the dish, which comes from green chilies. The "sweet" in the Thai name (wan means 'sweet') refers to the colour green itself and not to the taste of the curry. As this is a Thai curry based on coconut milk and fresh green chilies, the colour comes out creamy mild green or, as this colour is called in Thai, "sweet green". To make into a paste just add water for a lovely Thai green curry paste.

Where does Thai Green Curry Mix come from?

Thia green Curry was brought to Thailand by Portuguese missionaries in the 16th century.
